Looking at the Property in Cornudas, and on to Fort Bliss

After leaving Balmorrhea, we toodle on up to get our first look at the 10 acre property in Antelope Acres Estates in Cornudas.

Pleasantly surprised-  we actually have a nice view of the Guadeloupe Mountains.  We have a little scraped-out driveway along the edge of the property and the typical ocotillo/greasewood stuff.  No prickly pear.
We eat brunch at May's Cafe-  good food and a sweet, chatty waitress.

We decided to go on to El Paso rather than overnight at the property,  and we stay at Fort Bliss Fam Camp.  $18/night for full hook-ups, but they would have given us a 50% discount if I'd had the Federal Access Pass.  Packed in like sardines, but this is a highly regarded park.  We stay 2 days.
